Filming for Law & Order SVU has taken over the entire neighborhood (again). My building gets some money out of all the shoots they do around here and that helps keep our maintenance down. October 28, 2013 Dear Residents: With our incomparable views of the Manhattan skyline, Citylights is often approached by location scouts as a filming location for movies and television shows. Citylights has been afforded the financial opportunity and will allow the filming of one, non-violent, scene for Law and Order: SVU on Monday, October 28, 2013. The scene will feature a couple walking and talking from the Gantry to the center of the South West Corner of the plaza. We have coordinated a production window of 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm for setup and removal of equipment, with filming to begin at approximately 9:00 pm.
