Finding it hard to get into the spirit this year. I am thankful that Phillip is home and the birthday cake was the best its ever been. For the people that have been there for me and made me laugh these last few weeks when all I have wanted to do is cry. For internal strength that has been pushed to the max and the ability to somehow dial it up to 11. That distance in miles does not equal distance in heart. For old friends that know exactly what to say and when to say it. For children with unfailing love even when I feel like I am failing them. That I dont have to drive anywhere in this weather. For those Canadians that always have it worse. That Bailey didnt steal the ham. That the neighbor fell and his drunk ass landed in a big pile of mud.
