Fire Island Lighthouse I walked this trail hundreds of times but the times that really stuck with me most was when I walked it when snow was falling. The most quiet and serene place you could imagine. Hiking this in fog is pretty awesome also- when you stop you can hear every little sound. By the way the trails will take you to the Great South Bay side as well as the Atlantic Ocean side. My father, grandmother , Joe and I would fish around this area many a day sailing out of Captree boat basin. This was definitely filmed with an R/C aircraft possibly the DJI Phantom. This area meant so much to all of us that the lighthouse and fish were included on the family monument.
