Fire demonstrates God’s nature but does not explain everything about Him. Fire is more than show, glory or splendor. It displays His disposition, His infinite greatness, the central source of hope and life in the universe. Our best enthusiasm makes us only a smoldering wick alongside Him, the eternal Sun of righteousness. Three times we read “The zeal of the Lord will perform this”. That is God. To be His friends we must think big, think world-wide. Our sector may be small, but He puts us where He wants us with allies greater than all the enemy, on the victory front. We are God’s sons, commissioned ambassadors, demanding surrender to the King of Kings. Have a blessed day.
