First Warn Forecast: Friday, 10-9-14. .FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT. .We are now locked in a wet and chilly weather pattern for the next several days. We have a threat of heavy rainfall through the next several days, with the threat of flooding is possible. We should see a lull in the precipitation this afternoon with new development this evening with heavy rainfall likely and thunderstorms possible. .Severe weather does look limited, but a few strong to isolated severe storms will be possible. Look for impressive lightning from thunderstorms. .Temperatures will be in the 60s for the highs, and lows in the lower 50s tonight. Rain, heavy at times, with some thunderstorms will continue through Friday-Friday night and highs on tomorrow near 60. Lows in the upper 40s. .Saturday-Monday look for additional chances of rainfall with some heavy rain expected Sunday and Sunday night and Monday. We should have dry time through the weekend, but the Cards/Giants games could be wet! Temperatures through the weekend will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s. Monday look for highs in the upper 60s and lows in the lower 50s. .By Tuesday look for lingering morning showers, then clearing skies as our weather pattern begins to shift for the region...Temperatures in the lower 60s. Wednesday we are sunny and dry with highs in the upper 60s. .A Flash Flood watch is in effect for most of the region as heavy rainfall with training of thunderstorms I expect to see some flooding across the region... Precipitation amounts by Tuesday could reach 5 of rain in spots. Mainly along and south of I-70 is where the heaviest rainfall will be focused during this prolonged wet event. .
