First day of Classical Conversations and my heart is full. Thanking God for the indescribable gift of teaching my child, complete with a front row seat to watch him learn. I never imagined this as our path but with one foot in front of the other, trusting God each step of the way, this is where we have landed. I wish I could rewind the time and meet each of my children right where they were academically and personally shared with them the gift of fully loving and appreciating the process of learning. Grateful for the people who prayed and asked God to make this clear to us, the people who God placed in my path this past year who were bold enough to share with me why they made this choice for their family, the CC community of moms and Cheryl Green who have made us feel like we could actually do this, my step dad who asked me to do this years ago and even sent me homeschool brochures and my parents for modeling that a successful scholar and citizen can be produced through homeschooling made evident by my younger brother.
