First...praising God for answered prayers!! My mother-in-law was taken to the hospital around 2 am Tuesday morning and things didnt look good. She was transferred to St. Vs sometime after 3 am. Steve, his dad and brothers went to the Toledo with her. The girls and I headed home for a little sleep so that we could go to Detroit and pick up Caleb from the airport. We went directly to the hospital (well, stopped to get something to eat first 😉) and stayed until last evening. (Also a shout out to my brother and family for puppy sitting so that we could do that!!). Just received a phone call that my mother-in-law yanked out the respirator tube on her own during the night (she tried unsuccessfully during the day as well!). She is awake and was talking to them. She remembers going to the hospital and remembers Caleb being there as well! Her color looks good and things are improving. No test results have come back as of yet, but praising God for good news!
