First twin walks up to me holding a brand new pencil asks me to put air in it. Puzzled, I pretended to blow up the pencil like a balloon and gave it back. Got a strange look as the kid walked away. Second twin walks up to me holding a different brand new pencil and asks me to put sharp in it. Puzzled, I pretended to open the pencil, reached into my pocket where I keep my sharp, and pretended to put it in the pencil. Expecting the kids to be amazed and amused I was once again puzzled by the look of disappointment when I gave the pencil back. After getting the help of my 13 year old translator, it was determined they wanted the pencil sharpened.
