Refinement, refinement, refinement. . .no one will listen if the idea is not sharp, clear, and ringing true. 1. Hope. . the presence of crowdfunding as a viable funding channel for new ideas is a seed of hope for many that there is an independent way to fund creative projects. This winter Phoenix Film Project started accepting tax-deductible donations for the project via our Fractured Atlas donation site. Bit by bit the donations have been coming in, but we still have a ways to go. Like the 18 year-old Mike Hayes who, in 1987, financed his college education by getting one penny from as many people as he could, we hope that youll consider contributing whatever little bit you can to bring this film to life!
