Flows are quickly dropping on the Arkansas River. Current readings are 564 in Hayden Meadows, 1550 at Granite, and 2180 at the Wellsville gauge below Salida. With the Bureau reducing the Twin Lakes release further this morning and all tributary gauges showing declining flows, it is clear that we have moved beyond peak runoff and are on our way back to a very fishable river. We expect to resume float fishing in the next few days.
