Folks - there is so much rumor, so much false information, and so much vitriol about the proposed relocation of the homeless voluntary storage program in Venice, I have decided to change my schedule, and attend the start the Venice Neighborhood Council meeting. Before leaving for my other evening events, I will speak on this issue, share the facts, and try to dispel a lot of the misinformation. The meeting is at 7 pm at the Westminster Elementary School Auditorium, 1010 Abbot Kinney Boulevard. If we are going to take care of our neighborhoods and try to come up with genuine solutions to homelessness, we surely need to start with factual information, an open process, and a respectful civic dialogue.
