Following up on the DM threads Id like to ask a question, but am really looking for research, not opinion. Is the data on what percentage of dogs that are positive (not carriers) for DM and EIC develop symptoms of the diseases? Clearly any data that is collected on this will have a bias (scientifically) because reporting will be higher in symptomatic dogs, but I just wondered if any groups are maintaining statistics on this. I am asking this merely to educate myself about this, I have no breeding plans or other agenda. Thanks!
