Following your dreams is the best thing you can possibly do for yourself and the hardest thing you can possibly do to yourself... You follow your dreams because you dont want to work for anyone else, but this also means you dont get paid unless you dont work or unless you get a gig. You follow your dreams because you know in your heart its the right thing to do, but in society, your head tells you to make money and pay bills as fast as you can. Sometimes on this journey of self-reliance you get to the point where you just want to give up and get a regular job.... we all get there, Ive been there, my friends and family have told me to go there... but its not where you should be if your dream is heavy enough... The strength to go on though is hard to find in the struggle... that cross-road is crazy! Get a job...? Follow my passion....? Get a job....? Follow my passion....? Its the worst feeling isnt it? nah... Ill tell you what the worst feeling is... the worst feeling is looking back 10 years down the line and having a full pocket and empty heart.... the worst feeling is knowing you gave up on yourself... Please... if youre looking for the strength to go on listen to what Im about to say carefully.... For every friend that bought you food when you were hungry... DONT GIVE UP. For every compliment from a stranger on your craft.... DONT GIVE UP. For every night you lost sleep for your passion.... DONT GIVE UP. For every time you felt like giving up.... DONT GIVE UP!!! The strength to go on comes from not giving up on the people who believed in you! For the people who gave money they didnt have an abundance of to you! For not giving up on the ONLY person who will hold you down when everything looks pitch black.... YOU! If you give up on yourself, then it doesnt matter if you get that 9 to 5 or work as an entrepreneur.... you still gave up on yourself and you let the struggle win.... but Ill end this status with the 3 most important words Ill probably ever tell you... F*CK THE STRUGGLE.
