For all of my friends who feed your dogs home-made dogfood - what do you feed them, and why? Raw? Cooked? Supplements? Stephanie Kent-Wargin, Mary Gillespie Hatch, Marilyn Tokach, others?? I started making Peppers food because I thought she was having an itchy allergic reaction to the New, Improved formula of her regular brand (wheat, corn and soy free). Turned out she had fleas, so I dealt with those but kept making her food just in case. Now the fleas are gone, and so is her arthritis! Seems as though the good kibble I had her on was causing her to have stiffness and soreness. So Id like to continue making her dogfood, and want to make sure she gets all the nutrients she needs. Internet is a wonderful tool, but not sure what websites to trust for dog nutrition, and everyone seems to say something a little bit different.
