For almost 6 months I was emotionally involved with someone I met online. The lengths he went to in the perpetuation of all his lies are quite impressive on some level, Im sure. This weekend I received an email from his fiance. Im grateful that I had a month of processing my grief before receiving her email. Im determined to trust my gut more in the future. And, most importantly, I refuse to give up hope that someday I might have a true and lasting love in my life...but, in the meantime, if I cross your mind, I could probably use your prayers (or whatever term you use) because what I had inside me was very real and the grieving process is, at times, hellacious.
