For honey extractions from comb found in a wall/ceiling, there was a canning kettle and a wooden maul. Put pieces of comb in the pot and mashed it up with the maul, then strained it into another bucket. Again adding enough heat to soften the wax but not change the chemistry of the honey would make the job easier. For the beekeepers with one hive to process or a tree of found honey, this method works. For those with several hives, the extractor method below was better.
