For me, to judge the championship event at Pacific Pole - TopicsExpress

For me, to judge the championship event at Pacific Pole Championships hosted by Pole Sport Organization was a special privilege and honor which I take very seriously. I judge based not on the idea that my performance quality is excellent, but on the basis of a deep awareness and sensitivity of my shortcomings as a performer and areas in which I can improve. The events I judged this past weekend included Level 4 Championship, Level 4 Dramatic, and the Championship Professional event. All competitors from these divisions are more than welcome to private message me for feedback on their performances and I will do my best to recite what I can recall of my personal critique of their respective performances. Also, PSO will be providing scorecards including the feedback I wrote on each of these respective events during and following their respective performances within within thirty days of the event as indicated on the PSO website (polesportorganization/rules ). Not all judges, spectators, and competitors agree about aesthetic, technique, and entertainment value - nor should we all. This is why PSO has 5 judges rather than one, each of different backgrounds, and drops the highest and lowest scores given to each competitor by their respective judging panel. I believe PSO uses a fair system and am willing to account for any score card I have filled out to the best of my recollection. My highest regards for all who possess the courage to demonstrate their best work in a public platform for the scrutiny of fans and peers in the pole dance industry.
