For my son Tyler Takagi and Chris Looney, Dom Raso Veteran US Navy Seal : What would be worse for our country than to lose the confidence of the young patriotic kids who dream of service as a calling, and adventure and a duty they cant refuse? An entire generation that can no longer believe theyll be honorably lead and never forgotten. That watched leaders seem willing to abandon those who serve. And even worse leave them and their families vulnerable to a lifetime of neglect and poverty. What could be worse for our country than a generation that is unwilling to serve it? Thats the most dangerous symptom of a national sickness. The young men and women who swear an oath to defend freedom and obey their leaders should never feel even a flicker of a doubt that those leaders had their backs. Service is a sacred duty of a free people. Those that believe that so deeply theyd risk their lives for it deserve an unshakable loyalty. A commitment over all comitments.
