For the last month or so I have been feeding a stray cat. He shows up everyday, just after dark and consumes two cans of catfood and some dry food and sometimes leftovers out in the backyard then runs off. He is a beautiful animal, tan and yellow in color and blue eyes. He may have been abused by someone because he is so fearful. I cant get too close to him. He obviously has earmites as he is frequently scratching his ears. Im afraid he will perish in the Winter unless I can coax him in. I also have the medicine to treat his health problem. I want to offer him a home. People have told me not to try to catch him or force him to come in, but, to wait and let him come to me...and this is a slow process. I know this may sound like something silly or ridiculous to some people or perhaps a waste of time....but you know what?......I really do care! I really do! I have a tremendous desire to reach out to those in need....and a cat too. If there is a tiny way in which I can change the world to make it a better place for someone or something......I will do that. I believe it is one of the reasons I am here. Ya know why cause nobody and I mean nobody should be cold and hungry! There is no excuse for that. Ya know.....Im sick and tired and disgusted with hearing about the stupid wars, the greed, the hate in this world. Its time to turn this thing around, even if we have to start in a small way.
