For the past 5 years I have learned that being married is nothing like the fairy tales you are told as a child. Everything is not going to be happily ever after and things are far from perfect. Anyone who says otherwise is delusional. The incredible and amazing thing about marriage is not built from how fat your bank accounts are or what kind of house you live in. Truth is... The strength and beauty of a marriage come from all the tough and shitty things you go through together and somehow can come out of it loving eachother more today than you did yesterday. Knowing that you dont have to face such challenges alone. I have always considered myself lucky to be married to my husband. Hes loving, a great father and an incredible provider. But I must say, going through life changing events and exceptional challenges are what showed me what a life partner really is. Being able to overcome such challenges and grow closer from them is what God intended. The vows you make seem to make more sense when they become applicable. I celebrate 5 years of marriage today with my dear husband, best friend and life partner. We have grown so much as individuals and as a couple over the years and I can happily say, I will continue to love him more tomorrow than I did today. Heres to a lifetime of highs, lows and in betweens!!!! Happy Anniversary Steve!!!! I love you!
