For those of you that do not know today is the one year anniversary to my brothers accident! On November 29,2012 my family and I was devastated with news that would forever change our lives. My brother T.j. Williams and Hope Gammill Williams were stationed in Malmstrom Air force base in Great Falls, Montana at the time. Tj was driving to a missile site to provide security to the missile maintenance but never made the full journey. Still today it is a mystery but the Military Humvee started flipping. Tj was thrown from the vehicle and sustained numerous injuries. My brother was in critical condition with his lungs collapsed and a C5 burst and C4,C6 fracture the Medics never thought he would make 30 minute flight to the nearest hospital. However, TJ was flown to Great falls Community Hospital where his life long fight would begin. Tj has had numerous surgeries since the accident happened. He is paralyzed with C5 level injuries. Today, he is now stationed in San Antonio, Texas awaiting retirement! In the last year TJ has been recovering and still lives the devastating nightmare of the tragic accident. With that said he has changed my life forever along with so many others that he meets. His personality alone will drawl others in like a moth to a flame! For someone who has had so much taken away from him he still has a smile on his face and can make anyones day... God has definitely given him a second chance. Tj is a living testimony and I believe that good things are still to come. His progression in therapy has taken off with new gains. This is still the beginning the sky is the limit. I love you Tj!
