For those of you who know me, I am Jewish. For me, its more of an ethnic description, even though my ancestors are from Eastern Europe (Poland/Ukraine/Russia). I grew up in a kosher home, went to synagogue on a fairly regular basis until about 10 years ago when the hypocrisy of my branch of organized religion became clear to me that faith can not be found in a building but only within yourself. I am not quite an atheist but more of an agnostic. That being said, I do love going to church. The messages are always so positive and inspiring and so are the people.Today, I went along with Stan and attended one that was quite enjoyable. I always feel a little bit like an interloper when I go to church, any church, but the truth is, I often feel that learning how others find their faith is such a powerful experience that it is worth the slight awkwardness I initially undergo each time.
