For those saying he dove back into his car... He clearly did no such thing... He was moving at a normal pace and reached into his car... And, where someone carries their wallet isnt the point... The fact that cops in this country are to quick to shoot people, especially black men, is the issue... An important question is... why did the cop have his gun out already anyway? As a white man who has had run-ins with police (including DUI, drug-related offense, trespassing and other things) never has a cop approached me with his gun drawn... Why is it they do this to black men? The guy was supposedly being pulled over for a safety belt violation... Is that a gun worthy event? I know not all cops are bad. I know they make a lot of split-second decisions. I realize they are constantly in fear of the worst. But, that is part of the job. Being killed is one of the risk associated with MAKING THE CHOICE to be a police officer. Innocent people should not have to die because of it. If you are too afraid to do the job with the risks it involves without being so on edge that you murder/injure unarmed innocent people then get another job. PS: I dont carry my wallet in my pocket. It is usual in my console. But, no worries, Im white.
