For those that missed my rants, heres some stuff that ,since I couldnt post a status, I just wrote down... Until I got tired of doing that and moved on to ya know, something productive... : 1. The fact that the gap between Disneyland food prices and the outside world is closing indicates to me a limit on monopoly pricing power of food. 2. Shocktop and Blue Moon are not craft beer, theyre made by Budweiser and Coors respectively in an attempt to crush actual craft breweries. 3. The worst part about not understanding english is the inability to comply with nuanced laws, such as property tax. The tax collector does not care; however, and will take your property anyway. 4. People need to not be wreckless about who they add or remove from title to property. It can be unnecessarily costly as almost ever transfer is reappraisable. 5. Why do people frequently quote Marilyn Monroe, especially concerning relationships/happiness? Its well known she battled depression most of her life, had 3 failed marriages, and ultimately commited suicide. 6. Why do the non-religious get so upset with people posting/sharing their beliefs online. If you dont share their faith, their words/quotes/practices should have no more impact on your life than a fortune cookie. 7. An interesting and often overlooked aspect of training with weights is the loading and unloading of a barbell. Your body doesnt know youre resting while you repeatedly move 45lb plates. 8. Competition can be both healthy and fatal. It would seem competition with oneself would be the best. 9. I never watch it and I only caught the last half-hour of the finale, but I think The Bachelor just might be the worst show in the history of television. I am fairly certain it has done more damage to relationships/marriage than Gay marriages ever could. So how about instead of terrorizing people who genuinely love one another you protest/attack the true monsters like Juan Pablo (who appears to suffer from NPD and possible Sociopathy) and his ilk. 10. I am beginning to think the future of Cable TV will be App based (apple tv, roku, etc), where you download whatever stations you want and pay them a subscription directly. The current battles over which channels to provide are becoming untenable. Also, it could lead to efficent pricing structures. For instance, I just want Local Channels, HBO, AMC, ESPN + sports channels. I dont really want/need most of the other TV options. 11. Someone needs to cosplay the redhead on pirates of the carribean. Seriously, why is this not a more popular costume?
