For those who cannot afford health care. Under the Affordable Care Act people will have to have health care insurance that meets a mimimum essential coverage by January 1, 2014. However through a governmental program made available many people can qualify for reduced rates per income or even totally exempt from paying a premium to get this minimum essential health care insurance coverage. Starting October 1, 2013, if you are uninsured, due to unemployment or have insufficient income to attain a mainstream policy, an application for health care coverage through the "MARKETPLACE" can be submitted and that program will inform you of how much insurance premium assistance you qualify for or if you are eligible for this assistance at all.
