His neighbours were Palestinian Jews and Christians, he was a Muslim and they all went to school together. When he was injured in the war in 1947 his Palestinian Jewish neighbours took food to him in hospital. It is much simpler than you think and can be solved very easily. A democratic own state with church/mosque/synagogue separated from the state and the judiciary.
