For those wondering what is going on with Barry: His legs and arms would go numb and he would sometimes stumble so he finally went to the doctor about two weeks ago. He has some crushed or compressed discs that are blocking off his spinal fluid. Usually to get set up for surgery it takes 4-6 weeks and they want you to be completely smoke free. He stopped smoking to prepare for surgery but learned that his case is so severe that they wanted to do surgery immediately. We are not sure exactly what caused this to happen but he did have an injury last year and also he has been driving truck for YEARS so all that has taken its toll on his body. The doctors told him to quit work immediately or he could possibly paralyze himself. So now here we sit in Missouri preparing for surgery in the morning. We are hopeful that this will help him feel himself again and that he will eventually be able to drive truck or work again. I will update more as I get more information.
