For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: But now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, Or that he hears me. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, There was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffett me, lest I be exalted above measure. For this thing I be sought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me. My grace is sufficient for thee; For my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, That the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corrinthians 7-9. The word thorn communicates the idea of pain, trouble, sufferings, humiliation, or physical infirmities. The appostle Paul had a thorn in the flesh. His thorn remains undefined. I have an idea what this thorn was. I will remain silent because it is not biblical. If the Apostle Paul had a thorn in the flesh, surely enough, us christains in this day and age get our own thorn s in the flesh. The great news is The Lord is telling us the same thing he told the Apostle Paul, My grace is sufficient for thee. for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Church arent you glad we serve a God the same yesterday, today, and forever. Thank you Heavenly father for your grace. God bless
