For workers, there is no post-apartheid in the economic sector; - TopicsExpress

For workers, there is no post-apartheid in the economic sector; wage inequality is racial. Average wage for black workers is R2100, and for white workers is 3 times higher, says Numsa president. I want to debate this and say they are politicking, but how do I justify that CEOs like Basson earn 40 mill plus? How do I ignore Walter Rodneys finding that the colonial system produces prosperity for a few by race and poverty for the rest? How do I pretend I dont remember Jo Slovos thesis of SA as a colonialism of a special type? How do I forget Jamaican scholar, Norman Girvans idea that independence is a compromise the colonialism power system can reluctantly settle for because at least it can keep its power and privileges? How do I challenge Baba Kwame Nkrumahs point that sovereignty is rendered limited by never-dying global imperialism supporting perpetuation of Coloniality (neocolonialism)? Hhhhmmmmm tough for me. Better be quiet then...
