Force in and of itself is not an evil. It is how that force is applied that makes it evil. What is being done in Ferguson is evil. There has been no footage released to date showing any of these forces deployed against rioters; it is all being used against peaceful protestors. This kind of force being used to suppress a violent riot where innocent people are in danger would be a good thing. This kind of force being brought to bear against peaceful protestors is reprehensible and wrong.
