Forgotten people coming but right now something else. It was a very dreary damp day today. Tiny bit of sunshine, spent alot of time getting the dogs in then taking them out then getting them back in. It rained on and off. Got what was suppose to be done done , that was good.Then sitting in the living room saw a few leaves fall off the tree. Setpember 13. both my brother and nephews birthdays. With it being so damp and chilly out the thought of wont be to long before the shorts are put away and the long sleeve shirt go back on. Then wood will be cut , split and stacked. To me stacking the wood is where ever it lands after its slpit and thrown!!! Of course that warm feeling of the fireplace going is comforting but the same thing comes to mind, we are moving foward into another fall season. Where did the time go???? Oh sure there will be other summers however this one is over. Anything get accomplished??? Anything really new happen??? Anybody discover something that will change life as we know it??? The answer to those will be found in the history books long after this cowboy stops annoying people on facebook. The summer has been good, garden did from ok to very good , nothing great. Will , of course, try agian next year and you do learn something everytime you plant. Will be starting another section away from the house that will have more variety in it , looking foward to that. Only problem will be watering, however I have all winter to figure something out! Soil is damn near perfect in this spot. So , I guess , its the anticipation of next spring that allows us all to go foward. Not to mention fall, the favorite time of the year in this household , is just starting and what wonders will happen this time????
