Found this petition in another group. Does anyone know anything more about this initiative? It looks really interesting and not sure if Im reading all of the correctly. From what I read, it was in the plans from the beginning for there to be more path to the Comet and it was never finished? That unfinished portion would connect to a portion of the unfinished Beltline? And the hope would be that the two would connect eventually? I really like the Beltline. I love biking on the Comet. I would bike the heck out of it if it connected. Granted, biking from Mavel to Florence Rd is very high traffic with a lot of stops, it would still be killer if they met and I could ride from my house to Alabama.
