Fox News regularly lies to promote Republican National Committee - TopicsExpress

Fox News regularly lies to promote Republican National Committee (RNC) talking points. Mike Brang, this post is for you. Heres Romney during the 2012 campaign lying and saying Obama gutted the work requirement in the US welfare program: nation.foxnews/welfare/2012/08/08/romney-obama-removed-requirement-work-welfare So, queue up the RNC talking points machine, of which Fox News is the primary player - heres one of many videos in which they trot out the same lie, carrying water for the RNC - they even keep saying it now, long after Romney lost: mediamatters.org/blog/2013/03/04/fox-pushes-debunked-myth-to-attack-obama-on-wel/192887 But heres NPR checking with every fact checking group they can find, and fact checking it themselves - it simply isnt true, even though Fox News continuously reports it as fact. npr.org/blogs/itsallpolitics/2012/08/22/159791065/despite-fact-checks-romney-escalates-welfare-work-requirement-charge So, why would Fox News do that? What goodly reason can you identify? When people say you cant trust Fox News and theyre a right-wing unreliable source, its things like this that theyre referring to. Easily proven outright lies meant to portray to the viewer Republicans good, Democrats bad. Any media source that unapologetically lies this way to make its case is not only a poor source for proving your point, it probably shouldnt be watched by anyone. The lies do great for ratings though.
