Frances Louise Rafuse 1995 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: August 7, 1995. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Frances Louise Rafuse, 77, East Chester, died August 5, 1995, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at East Chester, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lilla (Bremner) Bond. She was president of the Lutheran Christian Women, associate member of Captain Kidds Rodd and Gun Club and was a faithful worker at Mackeral Snappers Picnic for 15 years. Surviving are daughters, Susan, at home; Mary (Mrs. Eric MacDonald), East Chester; son, Danny Schnare, East Chester; sisters, Christine (Mrs. Lawrence Rudolph), Greta (Mrs. Willard Fleet), Verna (Mrs. Clifford Brown), Daisy Cook, East Chester; Vivian (Mrs. William Graves), Mahone Bay; Anna (Mrs. William Myra), East River; brothers, Chester, East Chester; Lewis, Gold River; Ralph, Keswick, Ontario; grandchildren, Willa Schnare, Bedford; Della and Anna Schnare, East Chester; Kevin MacDonald, East Chester; a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her first husband, Otto Schnare; second husband ,Roy Rafuse; 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral 2 p.m. today in St. Peters Lutheran Church, Chester, Rev. Robert Rock officiating. Burial inthe church cemetery. Donations to Shoreham Village Nursing Home, St. Peters Lutheran Church or any charity. Arrangements under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Chester.
