Speck spent his life working as a sailor on the Great Lakes. He is survived by his sister, Lucille OSBORNE, of Williamsburg, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by five brothers, Jewell, Patrick, Peter, Gerard and John GILLESPIE; and four sisters, Grace COLE, Consuella LEFT, Dolores PISCHNER and Elvira SUPERNAW.
