Freedom of the Press essentially means that the press is allowed to push the facts of any story to further their own agenda which is to increase viewership and therefore increase revenues. The "Press" is not a "not-for-profit" organization and is not really held to any strict code of moral conduct. The "press" uses subtle psychology to increase empathy for situations and to distort the truth in an attempt to raise ratings, cause emotional distress on the viewer, and solicit an empathetic response that will in turn gain "loyalty" from the viewer. This is just a little proof as to what has happened recently. Notice I did not say "LIBERAL" media but rather put in the "PRESS" because it is obvious both sides of the media are doing this on a daily basis... it is our goal at the Coalition to further the knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the evils of the media firms in this country to prove that we MUST start thinking for ourselves and use this forum and others like it to spread our opinions and the facts of cases and situations around the country in an attempt to reunite this country and get it back on the right course. All of you, ALL OF US, have this ability and it is our duty to push to make it better.
