Freezing rain has begun earlier than expected .. Snow and high winds with local blowing snow will continue tonight becoming mixed with ice pellets Tuesday. Strong arctic outflow winds will create poor visibility in blowing snow and wind chill values near minus 20. Additional snowfall and ice pellet amounts of 20 to 30 cm can be expected by Tuesday. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
