Friday Camaclang Friday Camaclang is a female football player from the Philippines. Friday has been a stalwart of the Philippine national team in major international competitions since 1995. She is currently playing for Brighton & Hove Albion W.F.C. in England and is the first Filipina to play in England’s prestigious womens soccer league. Career Camaclang played high school varsity in Collegio de San Agustin in Makati city. She kicked her first soccer ball when she was three and her skills were further honed at the Makati football school. There she was able to play in international competitions such as the Helsinki Cup in Finland, the Gothia Cup in Sweden and the Pondus Cup in Denmark. Friday was a regular in international Asian tournaments such as the South East Asian Games and the Asian Games where she garnered the first MVP of the match award to be given to a Filipino by scoring the first two goals of the tournament, she was 22 at this time.
