Friends - Need your help! The following song- Warrior Poets off the ASKA Absolute Power cd - though it doesnt feature any of my singing on it, remains one of my favorite songs Ive ever written. Well prior, in the 70s, there was Scottish sounding instrumental song that rocked HARD. The song was all rock guitar/drums/bass and bagpipes and I THINK it was called Scotland the Brave (that was the song being played after all - just rock style) but it could just as well have been called Scottish Rock or Scotland Rock. Can ANYONE tell me the name of the group that played it or post the song here or give me ANY info. whatsoever on the original artist/album/etc.? Certainly somebody out there must remember this song! Ive been SCOURING the net for info and nothing. Ive even seen a couple of other people post questions about this song online and nobody has a correct answer! There are quite a number of traditional arrangements of Scotland the Brave by pipe & drum corps. but the version Im seeking was by a rock band.
