Friends and Elves, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to share the day with friends and family. The passing of Thanksgiving means we are getting close to pack up. In 10 short days the shipping boxes will have been built, the drop off goodies delivered to the warehouse and sorted & counted, and roughly 9 tons of inventory will have been moved to the respective churches placed in assembly lines and over 2500 boxes will have been filled labeled and turned over the Postman to deliver to OUR Troops in Afghanistan. We need you to help us make this happen. Hopefully you can find an hour or two to come help Santa. We can use folks each evening this week at #7 E. Industrial Loop (Midland) from 6PM -8PM to sort goodies and we will need lots of folks to help get the churches prepared on December 10th. If you have students who need Legacy hours we can help them get those community service hours. As always hundreds of helping hands are needed to pack the boxes. Below is our schedule for getting this big task completed. I cant think of a better way to start the Christmas season than joining together with friends and neighbors to make sure OUR Troops know the folks back home have them in the hearts and prayers. Join us in the fun (and the hard work)!!! #7 E.
