Friends, family and loved ones Please dont respond to the messages. Im really trying to keep this private and do not want to start a flame war. This is just to state my story and facts. I never get on Facebook so this is really an exception. I really want to do this privately. I dont like drama. Please lets have that conversation, and lets do it privately. I did not leave anyone in Phoenix. She said she did not want to come back with me. She said she wanted to stay at the conference. She asked to get her stuff out of the car. When someone is serious and tells me something as in, I dont want to come back with you, I take that to mean, I dont want to come back with you. I am sorry I did not read into it or think about it other than the face value of the comment. I did not hear, ask me about how im going to get home. I am sorry if I should have. If I heard that I would have had a much different response. If I said those words, I dont want to come back with you, I would have meant those words, and more than that I would have had a back up plan. That is how I think, and I am sorry If I did not consider any other way of thinking about the situation. Honestly I was in shock and trying to figure out what to do. I went into crisis mode of driving alone and running all those possibilities through my head. I went into crisis mode about my bank account, because I did not plan for the expenses of doing the trip alone . I definitely did not want to do this trip by myself. I ate $400.00 (that i was not going to ask for although it was promised) compared to $80.00, and drove 650 miles alone which is around 11 hours. I didnt want to do that. I didnt want to pay another $100.00 for a rental car because my car was locked up. If a male said those words I would take him at his word. My ethical viewpoint is equality so I try and treat everyone as an equal. I sent messages to her about my car because I needed it for work. I did not get any response about it for 3 days. I didnt finish 2 papers for school because I was planning to finish them on the way back while sharing equal driving duty. There is a lot of misunderstanding to go around. I sure made a lot of mistakes, and owe a lot of people apologies. Ill gladly give them if people would let me. Lets not escalate this into a war of accusations. That does nobody any favors. Im sorry about this whole situation as it makes me sad and frustrated. I thought the whole thing was clear in that she didnt want to come back with me. I am sorry about the miscommunication and everything that transpired.
