Friends kindly let me share one of the greatest secrets I have discovered relating to success and peak performance. It is about THE THIN DIAPHRAGM that separates you from any major goal you seek to accomplish in your life. Right now, there is something very small and seemingly insignificant that stands in the way of your success. The interesting thing is that you have resorted to every desperate measure to try to remove it to no avail. You find yourself looping in failure. You know success is possible. There is only a very thin diaphragm that separates you from that lofty goal. The first thing you need to do is to write down what you want to achieve. If you do not feel like writing, please stop reading this and go back to your life of mediocrity. You see, NOT writing it down as I have said could be that thin diaphragm; the false belief that you can open a door without the right key. After writing it down, jot down all favorable elements that can facilitate the goal. BUT most importantly, write down what factors stand in the way of achieving your goal. Do not look at the BIG obstacle like “I LACK $150,000 INVESTMENT CAPITAL”. I know you have set a goal to earn $1 million dollars by next year but that is not what your obstacle is. Your obstacle may just be $50. You see with $50 you may be able to sign up for a MLM like Avon and start building your fortune. You can open an Ebay or Amazon shop. With $50 you can register at the gym and start sculpting that body. With $50 you can get together a business plan to put before a bank or investors. “But Gordon I do not even have $50”, I hear you say. I say WRONG. You have a TV set at home that you can sell on eBay for $50. You have a laptop , a piece of jewelry, an antique piece that you can sell and raise that money. If the TV is too precious to sell, then you are not meant for the big league. Stay with Jerry Springer episodes!
