From 21 Lessons of Merlyn Chapter 5: Of Wind, Sea, and Fire Having held this silent conversation within my own mind, I wondered how people could possibly be willing to give up the Old Druidic teachings, which taught self mastery over lifetimes, in favor of the new Christian Dogma based on fear of failure and guilt? I wondered why this blatant difference was being overlooked, until a scripture I had learned in Church re-surfaced with new meaning, Many are called, but few are chosen...And so, they even realize their own folly! I figured to myself before snapping suddenly back to reality. (Un-noticed by me, Merlyn had already lifted the Shell-Chalice high into the air (mood), as if to extinguish my flaming fears deep within the sea (Whole of Humanity)
