From Alan Russell Carter... Can I go back to my home planet now? Seriously. I dont know if I can keep my sanity in a world that seems to be more angry with a punk kid stealing $49 in cigars than they are at bankers who steal $49 million from old people living on pensions. All of it, the gun nuts, the insane racism, the violence, the gang idiots, the school shooters, trigger happy cops. Maybe Michael Brown wouldnt have come up with the cure for cancer or Parkinsons disease. But maybe, he could have. Well never know. Or those kids in Sandy Hook or someone sitting in that movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. I dont know about you, but Im sick of grieving potential and what ifs. Im sick of having to apologize for being mad about death and murder and unarmed people being killed. If that passion bothers you, theres the door. Just dont shoot me before the spaceship comes back.
