From CAG: Team Timberwolf/Factory family, friends and supporters, your continued support is instrumental to a successful homecoming. Your Sailor enjoyed Marseille France and the surrounding area. This coastal town in the south of France was a great setting for our interaction with the French military and a delegation that included the US Ambassador to France. Our visit was extremely successful and your Sailors once again improved the reputation of the United States. We are out of the Mediterranean as you can see by our outgoing picture of the Straits of Gibraltar. Also attached is a picture of some dolphins escorting us on our way out to the Atlantic Ocean - it was a beautiful day a fitting end to our time in the med. The reunion briefs are in full swing and a great team of educators from the Fleet and Family Service Center are here getting us ready to return home. Attached is a great article from military one source that highlights things Sailors and families can do to make homecoming successful. This weeks highlight is our Department Heads. Our Department heads are in charge of maintenance, operations, safety, administration and training. These are our future Commanding Officers and they have great responsibility and most importantly execute the Commands mission and the Commanding Officers vision. Our Department Heads are as impressive as you might imagine. This weeks highlighted ship department is the small, but mighty Safety Department which leads and oversees numerous command-wide operational safety and occupational health programs that enhance war-fighting readiness through the prevention of injuries, deaths, material loss or damage. Safety is a constant on CVN-77. This weeks Avengers of the day is AMEAN York from VFA-31, congratulations. Thank you for your continued, remarkable support. Family and friends have been the key to this deployment and will be the key to homecoming and beyond! CAG Sends
