From Wellington Square United Church: This Christmas we are filling stockings for all of the children who are a part of the Friday Night Community. If your family, work, or organization would like to fill some stockings please contact me as soon as possible and I can pass on the instructions. We are also putting together Bags for Christmas Joy which all of our friends will receive at the holiday dinner celebration. Please consider helping us to collect jars of jam, chocolates, body wash, shower puffs, $5 Tim Hortons gift cards, and socks. Lastly, we would like to ask you for your support in assisting a mom and her 13 year old daughter who have just moved from a shelter to subsidized housing, and are in need of furniture for a living room, 2 bedrooms (including queen sized bed), all kitchen and bathroom supplies, bedding and clothing (girl size 12-14 and Mom size M). Please send photos of any furniture that you might have available so we can see if it could work in their space.
