From an email from a BHCA resident: SAFETY ALERT! The Bayside Hills Civic Association is concerned about YOUR safety and the safety of YOUR fellow neighbors. Your home has been chosen to receive this safety alert because it is located on a corner intersection. "Recently, there have been reports of vehicle accidents that have occurred at corner intersections within our community. Poor driver visibility has been cited as a contributing cause of these accidents. We have also received complaints that some homeowners have an over-growth of bushes/trees on their front property that impair, or block, driver visibility which would increase the chances of an accident occurring there. We need YOUR help! We ask that you take a moment to perform an inspection of your property and identify any problem areas that may impair driver visibility. Please prune, trim, or remove bushes/trees as necessary to make YOUR corner intersection safe. The purpose of this safety alert is to promote awareness. The goal is to ensure the safety of ALL our residents. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Let’s keep US safe!!"
