From the desert to the sea... What an amazing few days I have just spent still in #morocco. 3 days ago, 7 people from 4 continents speaking 5 languages were all removed from the big tour buses and placed on a small bus together. Enter the dream team. We sang, ate, danced and drove a looooong way trough morocco and found ourselves piled onto camels with the rest of them into the desert to go camping. Hi lights- my camel was named Jimi Hendricks -watching the sunset an sunrise over the Sahara desert - on a camel... - dancing Cuban salsa with my French speaking Arabic friend teaching me under the stars to the beats of the bongos played by the nomads - learning about the healing powers of the Sahara sands- it cures rheumatism apparently! People travel far an wide to be buried in the fiery sand and can walk again... Hmmm... - stepping away from the campsite up one of the dunes with one of the nomads to get a full-on view over the camp and above the stars in the middle of the night. I saw at least 100 shooting stars and the Milky Way of the north- mind blowing! - marriage proposal from said nomad. - the translation of everything we were talking about from Arabic to French to English. And some basic Italian to ensure the conversation was not Missed by anyone. - the theme songs... On repeat And Today- we didnt want to part just yet- so the remaining 5 went to the beach! I got to go surfing in agadir. Although the waves were small, the hilight was definitely teaching my Canadian judo-chopping friend Bianca to surf, and getting to see her ride her first wave!!! .... #desertwanders #wanderlust. #morocco
