Front page of NDN has a nice article about Vice-President of CCACG spreading rumors. VP Laurice Shaw in regards to an expansion into the Malbone Estate, It is totally speculative, totally a rumor. I guess I just felt I wanted to spread the rumor. She is also quoted as saying the current owner of the Malbone Estate, Dr. Kendrick Brede, is an associate of Paul Roiff. Dr. Brede denies he knows any of the investors and stated there are deed restrictions preventing any redevelopment. Shaw said the polls indicate the vote will be close and opponents need to do whatever they can to convince people of their cause. This is how CCACG have run their campaign from the beginning. It is based on lies, rumors, and scare tactics that have little to no factual basis! They will look you in the eye and lie to your face (it happened to me by their leader in their office). Anyone, with a little effort, can see right through the myths they float to the public. In my eyes it is CCACG that has tainted their own cause! Vote yes for 1 Casino in 1 location creating hundreds of jobs and generating millions for Newport!!!
