Frustrating when the boat I skipper has had 5 months to fix itself, now Im stuck working alone far away from home with a mountain of repairs and maintenance to climb and with little help and no crew. I work too hard for what I get. On the bright side I just spent 5 months with my family,have 80k of blackcod quota to catch, halibut to do and I got my 100 ton skippers ticket. Sounds like Im too optimistic but thats just my confidence speaking!need things to go my way. Too much relying on other people makes life difficult, just need a break so I can blaze my own trail as a successful fisher/owner of a boat.
